Samuel Whiskers
The Beswick Samuel Whiskers figurine was first issued in 1948 with the B1a and B1b Backstamps. It was modelled by Arthur Gredington and was later issued under the BP-2, BP-3a, BP-3b, BP-3c, and BP-4 backstamps. It was finally retired in 1988 although Royal Albert continued it until 1995.
N.B. On the BP-4 Backstamp 'Samuel' is spelled 'Samual'
